First time coming here, and our experience was excellent. I had the Beef Brisket Sandwich with house fries and a craft cola, and it was delicious and the perfect portion size for me to feel satisfied, and not stuffed. As for prices it is very reasonable compared to some other places, and for the food you’re getting, it is worth it 100%. My one annoyance is that it’s $4 for a can of pop, other than that, no issues. Kudos to the staff who all dressed appropriately, and kept the building very clean (inside and out). 5 stars for a fantastic night, definitely will be coming again.
Best BBQ brisket that I have had in a very long time. It was so juicy and flavourful full of subtle hickory and cherry wood smoke notes. The one pound that I ordered just got gobbled up. The sauces are generous provided at each table: Bourbon (the best), Cherry, Spicy and Mustard. Use a little, use a lot!The cherry chili rib was lip smacking good fully sauced and perfect in every way.Service was attentive and also made us feel comfortable.Meat is a perfect five star all around!

Shared the Sampler Platter and small side orders of Mac& Cheese and Dill Potato Salad with a friend and was pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes (read: took half home!!! The adult beverage selection is a unique one with LOTS of choice that includes local craft brews and MEAT's own handcrafted cocktails, as well (the Hard Ginger Beer was most refreshing in the summer heat . Love this restaurant!
It's as close to a true southern bbq as you're likely to get in Edmonton.Their smoke flavor is on point and great. The brisket is fairly tender. The cherry sauce was an unexpected pleasant surprise that we quite liked. Unfortunately the ribs most certainly didn't fall off the bone but their flavor was still good.It's a worthwhile spot to visit on your quest for variety in Edmonton.
