Customer service. I had hi hopes for this location. My wife went to check on the order because she received a text saying it was ready. Your people told her it 'was not ready '. After waiting for over 25 minutes, I finally went up to the counter and said the same thing. Your people concluded that someone else must have taken it. I ended up coming here as part of a trip at the Elm City Shopping Center. I had my main dish and entree at a different store as they only serve desserts here. The food was okay but nothing really special. Even though the store name is Meet Fresh, I did not feel the dishes were particularly made to order. I ordered ther Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice. Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 if you like taro, you must try Double Taro Signature! It is is grass jelly shaved ice with grass jelly, taro balls, a scoop of taro paste, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The grass jelly and the shaved ice is one of their signatures so it’s always great without being too sweet. The taro balls have a great texture where it’s chewy or QQ. Good spot, good food, staff very friendly, I personally wouldn't go back to this type of set up, but we will because my queen likes it lol, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this place folks, please don't misinterpret my decision, it's simply not my cup of tea to have this type of set up at a sit down restaurant, they Cook the meat right at your table and I just prefer to have it coming out ready from the kitchen and served to my table, besides that... I went on a Monday night. It was busy and crowded probably because it was a holiday. They have two self ordering kiosks. One on each side of the front door. They need to organize the lines better because it was a bit of a cluster. I ordered a winter melon tea with grass jelly. Tea tasted good and there was a lot of grass jelly. I waited 10 mins which is understandable since it was so busy. First time back since Covid, lines are still a mess and prices have increased but drinks are still good.
My first time stopping by to get chef Yon Jao Special dessert to donate for WDC by the end of April 2023. It was very tasty, all my friends love them. The staff are kind and helpful. The digital touch screen for ordering is convenient , tho searching can be improved a bit better. Good price, good atmosphere. Hopefully they will add something delicious like chef Jon Jao Special on their menu for smaller size snacks in the future.
I like how their desserts are not too sweet.Best was the soft tofu with flan on top.And then we shared a HOT grass jelly dessert that had taro, boba, corn, and other goodies. You can also get free shaved ice to add into the mix.We also enjoyed Jasmine Green Tea and some kind of caramel milk tea.Everything was delish. I came here twice this month, and I ordered mini taro balls, but I didn't add them both times. The first time was red bean soup, and the second time was Taro A combo. I know they are busy and the taste is delicious, but twice this situation makes me feel bad.
Was brought here by our friends before our trip to Taiwan. Great delicious drinks and dessert. Boba's fresh. Very recommended. It is so prepared in a busy plaza to search for parking.
