I am thoroughly impressed by the consistent quality of the food for both breakfast and lunch. The breakfast sandwich options are exceptional and made fresh to order. Mel remembers your name and your favorite order after just a couple of visits, ensuring that the service is fast and friendly. This charming little diner has seating for about 30 and offers quick bites like chicken tenders, bagels, eggs, and burgers, all of which they execute much better than I initially expected!
Caution: the lattes are made from a machine and taste quite unpleasant—somewhere between overly sweet and chemically. I suppose I should have anticipated the quality given their low price. My husband enjoyed his BLT, but the chicken in my quesadilla had an odd texture, reminiscent of fast food chicken. Clearly, I should have chosen a different spot for lunch. There’s a reason the prices are so low.
Great friendly staff. Amazing food. Legit order anything and it's always delicious. Downside is it is cash only BUT since it is on a military installation it kind of makes sense. No alcohol and does have fountain drinks. No kids menu. But again, it's on a military base which is basically a gated college so it's expected. At least in my opinion.
Excellent variety, delicious food, and prompt service! Their weekly specials are consistently impressive. The burgers are HUGE! Although it's located on a military installation, if you're an active, retired, or reserve service member, or a dependent, be sure to stop by for a quick meal... you won't be disappointed!
