The only reason we’re giving this place one star is because our waitress put three tables on one tab instead of splitting it. This put such a damper on our great night. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and we had a wonderful dinner. However, it all got ruined when we were left sitting for over an hour after finishing dinner trying to figure out the bill and who got what food at what table and how we were going to pay for this ginormous bill of over $1,000. From the beginning when we were ordering, we asked our waitress if we could split the tab at our table because there were two different families sitting with us, she commented “no I can’t split checks but I can do it by tab...
They were able to seat three adults and one baby in under 20 minutes on a very very busy Wednesday of last week, and we got the all-you-can-eat Maryland crabs and all you can eat snow crabs... every crab was fat and happy, and so were we. They had a bard of sorts entertaining us on the guitar and vocals which was lovely. Couldn't have asked for better weather, it was like 75° at 4:00 in the afternoon. Forgive me for not recalling our servers name, but she was patient and lovely considering that she had everybody hollering her down from every direction! We'll be back...??
At the end of the night, we received a bill totaling $1,200 and were left to sort out who owed what. This led to a stressful hour of calculations, with no assistance or concern from our waitress. The entire situation was especially challenging for families with young kids and babies, and it was frustrating to deal with the math when we were assured that the checks would be divided. I recommend caution for those dining with large families!
This place is a classic for cracking crabs!!!!! Been around forever and is consistently good. Great service staff and a wide selection of other foods for those not into working for your food aka crab crakin '. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Great place! Had the Swordfish special with a side of Breaded Jumbo Shrimp. We loved them so much that we ordered another order of them. Noisy place but everyone was happy with their crab hammers!
I really enjoyed the food, particularly the crab dip. However, the restaurant was quite crowded, and it took a long time for the food to be prepared.
One of my favorite places in Bethany! The food is excellent, and the bar is a lot of fun. Eileen and the entire team are wonderful.
