Our visit did not allow us to agree with many of the reviews of this restaurant. We were one of the early arrival tables however we did not receive ANY food for approx. 1.5 hours! Other tables, which arrived after us were receiving their meals, however despite numerous passings of our table by staff, no one noticed that we had NO food. We did see many "take away" orders coming out of the kitchen which further annoyed us...seated patrons MUST always come first. As regular dine in customers of Milan I have never been disappointed. However when we ordered take away delivery service we were let down on so many levels. Our favourite dish Beef Madras was NOT Beef Madras at all. What we got was hard dry bits of beef covered in some type of gravy. The coconut rice was burnt. The Pappadums were old and soggy. The owner was not prepared to do anything other than offer to call me back on Good Friday.....after a heated discussion which included him yelling at the chef for all to hear he finally agreed to send us what we had ordered. Our party of three had a very enjoyable dinner at Milan recently. The smell of curry and spice when you enter Milan is enticing and the host is charming and polite. We ordered butter chicken, beef masala and Malai Kofta to share along with mixed raita, garlic naan & saffron rice. The serving sizes were perfect for us and we enjoyed the food immensely. The chicken & beef pieces were tender & the sauces flavoursome.The prices are slightly lower than those at most Indian eateries. I would recommend Milan's if you looking for an unpretentious Indian restaurant that serves delicious food.
This was our first time back to Milan since the new owners have taken over....and we can't wait for our next dining experience at Milan.The staff were so polite and accomodating to all our needs.The food overall was outstanding we had lamb Korma, beef vindaloo, butter chicken and prawn curry, spinach and cottage cheese, chutney, mint yogurt, coconut and saffron rice cooked to perfection and the best garlic naan ever!The wine selection was excellent and those that had beer said the Kingfisher was cold and refreshing.Just a lovely dinning experience!

Just visited for a meal yesterday and VERY impressed with the NEW management that have take over from the previous owner. fresh and tasty and truly INDIAN , mainly north Indian style and well cooked to my taste being SPICY NOT TOO HOT . Indian bread Naan Roti and Parattah were very good especially Parattah. Fressh well cooked BASMATI rice went well with tender chicken as well as tender lamb. Reasonably priced with genorous serving.If you like Indian cuisine well worth a try and am sure you will be impressed
Had a delivery where half of the items were missing. Called to request the missing dishes to be sent or refunded and been totally dismissed and sent away with no apologies, refund or compensation. They won't get any penny out of me again!
Hey, it's no Tonka but then few restaurants are. If the mood-for-Indian strikes, this is a safe bet. Nothing special but I don't reckon I've ever been disappointed either. The +4 are always happy and it feels like the staff care.
They catered to vegan diet by making our sauces from scratch as they didn't have anything without yogurt in the ingredients list. Staff were very nice and helpful and the food was very nice!

Right up thereWill be going back soon to see if it was a fluke, but definitely some of the best Indian food I've had.
