This was my second time eating here, and it was just as good as the first. I really like the variety of meat options you can choose. We got a mixed group of three meats including chicken, pork, and the beef brisket. I can definitely give the pork and beef a big thumbs up! The chicken was good as well, but was just a little dry. In terms of service, interaction is a little limited as you order at the front, and then the meal is brought to you. The interactions we did have were good and everyone was helpful. We had Mission BBQ cater our wedding, and it was an excellent decision. Taylor, the catering manager, was incredibly responsive to all our inquiries. She always replied quickly and was very helpful throughout the process. The complimentary tasting we received was simply fantastic! They allowed us to sample all the different meats and sides, and even sent us home with some extras. The staff who worked at our wedding were amazing! They were friendly and set up the buffet beautifully. At the end of the night, they packed up all the leftovers for us. There was a ton of food, and I was thrilled to have some to take home. Everything was so delicious!
We decided to visit Mission’s after hearing great things about their BBQ. The pulled pork was fantastic, and the brisket was incredibly tender with no fat at all. The sides of greens, beans, and mac and cheese were also quite good. However, I was eager to try the potato salad but found it to be disappointing. The staff were exceptionally kind, and I noticed they mentioned that veterans receive a free dessert. The walls were adorned with pictures of service members and flags honoring POWs, which was a beautiful tribute to our military. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and plan to return.
Mission always deserves 5 stars in our book! From the time you walk in and the aroma of smoked meat paired with a warm welcome from the staff, you can't help but feel at home. The food is cooked to perfection and full of flavor! If you love Alabama white sauce you should try theirs! The Mac n Cheese is creamy and the green beans taste like your grandma's! Enjoy the pictures of those who have served decorate the walls around you. There always someone walking the dining room cleaning and asking how things are. I have been to Mission BBQ 3 times over the past 6 months when visiting family. Their half chicken is amazingly good. Their sauces are both creative and delicious, especially the Gator Bite and the Alabama White Sauce. I also enjoyed the singing of the national anthem at noon. I'll be back!Food: 5/5
First time eating here and slightly disappointed. BabyBack Ribs were a bit over cooked but had a good flavor. Potatoe salad was good. Pulled Pork was good as were the baked beans. Friendly staff and dining area was very clean. Prices were higher than I expected.Food: 3/5
This smokehouse is excellent! I especially enjoy the pork, fries, and beans. The service is outstanding, and I appreciate the patriotic theme and the support for our military and first responders. Every visit to Mission BBQ is a wonderful experience. Food: 5/5.
