I used to frequent this restaurant with my friends and we still reminisce about it. However, on a recent visit, I was quite disappointed. The food was decent, I'd even say good, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. Otherwise, it would have been just one star! The cleanliness of the place left much to be desired, and the restrooms were filthy. I was reluctant to return after using the facilities. Additionally, we were overcharged for our drinks, but I chose not to argue about it. One of our group accidentally spilled a drink, which was promptly replaced, but we were still charged for it on the bill. Sadly, I won't be returning due to the overall lackluster experience, despite the good food.
Over lock-down we have been very well looked after by Sanjeev and the crew at Montys in The Mall. Perhaps boringly we always order the same vegetarian dishes (Brinjal bhajee, Sag paneer, Tarka dal and Mushroom Pilao rice. We used to have papadams but have stopped that as we then can't finish the lovely main dishes if we start off with Papadams! Monty's have been delivering us our delicious weekly curry and it always arrives with a smile. We hope to pop in for a meal at the restaurant soon and be able to thank Sanjeev, his cooks and delivery drivers for looking after us so well this past year.
I love Monty’s. This is the go to place in Ealing for a great curry and excellent service. Although I have moved away from Ealing, I always try to route my trips back to London via Ealing so I can dine at Monty’s. Today I had lunch with a good friend. I was not sure how the lockdown had affected the restaurant but I was not disappointed. The starter of prawn puri was delicious followed by an equally superb begun behar. The fact that Monty’s has survived in these difficult times is testament to the quality of the food and service. Well worth a visit.
I used to live in Ealing for many years and sadly only found out about this restaurant after leaving.However I now come back whenever in the area. The restaurant is super convenient being just round the corner from Ealing Broadway underground. The food is tasty and has a good vegetarian/ vegan selection..Unusually for London the service is friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend for a tasty curry. It’s always busy so obviously popular.

I can remember when the food used to be good at this restaurant. However, I am sorry to say that the quality has decreased significantly. I recently ordered three dishes for take-out and all of them were below average.
Had lunch here on 25th August and our positive opinion of this restaurant was reconfirmed. Excellent service and very fresh food. We were particularly impressed by the Kathmandu chicken.
Food poor. Biryani had a peppercorn or spice in every mouth full and way to much mint. Curry sauce tasted like something out of a tin from Tesco!. Staff didn’t take kindly too feedback.
Good authentic Indian food in Ealing. Great location (next to the station) and friendly service. Been here many times. Food is good, they are accommodating and make you feel welcome!

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant were fantastic. I went with my family and we all had a great time. The staff were very friendly and composed, providing excellent service.
Service was excellent and very quick, food was amazing definitely a ten out of ten. Will definitely be returning
