My husband and I enjoy Greek food and while traveling in the area were drawn to this restaurant by the great reviews. We stopped for lunch and were seated quickly. The restaurant is pleasant inside but has no decorations or anything to make you feel you are eating in a Greek Restaurant. My husband ordered one of the specialty burgers and I ordered the gyro sandwich. Since the only choice for a side with my gyro was coleslaw and I don’t eat mayo, I upgraded to a Greek salad with my sandwich (offered as an option for additional price of $5.50). My husband’s hamburger looked well prepared and he enjoyed it along with the French fries and cole slaw that came with his meal. My sandwich was large,...
I'm not from AZ, but we were in Florence for work, and we were able to make it here twice. Once when we first arrived, and again before we left a few months later. (The best way to start and end that journey. Great appetizers, great gyros, delicious desserts, wonderful staff who not only offer excellent service, but they were theatrical and seemed excited to be there. We ordered a flaming cheese appetizer, and they made a table-side spectacle of it, lighting it on fire with a small torch. It was fun, and we miss not having access to it anymore. Highly recommend if you're in Florence.
We had the most amazing server, she was both efficient and engaging. The food was good, but disappointingly expensive. There was no kid's menu so I wound up paying nearly $20 for my 8 year old. The hummus was good as was the pita bread. The gyro was fine too. Just can't get past how myself and an 8 year old wound up spending $70 on hummus appetizer, a cheeseburger and fries, a gyro, and 2 non-alcoholic drinks. Save this one for date night.
Greek and American food are both delicious here! We had gyros and a Greek salad (yummy dressing! and all were tasty and very filling! Also recommend the steak fries, onion rings and burgers. If you’re driving by for any reason, I highly recommend planning to stop here. Great, friendly service with lots of space between booths. We stopped in while enjoying a day outing from the PHX area. I reviewed this restaurant about 8 years ago. And rated it highly. Pleased to report that it has not changed and that it has survived the pandemic. This restaurant is alway a stop when we travel through Florence. Excellent Greek food, generous portions, attentive staff. The gyros are especially good and chunky not like the fast food shaved gyros places in the city.
We started our day with the Greek Monastery just outside of town, then to top it off we went for Greek Food!! What flavors and FUN! We ordered many items off the menu-there were 7 of us, so we had to try as much Greek Flavor as we could! YUM
