We’ve dined at Mr. Friendly’s many times over the past years. Tonight: We thought the food was the best we’ve experienced there …it was all spot on and the service even better. My husband had one of the night’s specials, the pork tenderloin stuffed with the house made sausage and I had another one of the nightly specials, the NC red trout. They both were AMAZING! And dessert? The team hit a grand slam with the peaches and cream eggrolls with caramel sauce. You need this in your life…just saying.
We hadn't visited Mr. Friendly's in a long time, but for our date night, we decided to make a reservation and give it another try. It was fantastic, and we couldn't help but wonder why we hadn't come back sooner. Although we now live in Lexington, the drive was definitely worth it. My wife ordered the tempura flounder, while I had the fried chicken, and both dishes were delicious. It won't be long before we go back again!
1) The crab cake was fantastic—pure crab meat with no fillers. 2) The meatloaf special was extraordinary, served with onion rings, braised collard greens, and mashed potatoes, all cooked to perfection, making it a superb main course. 3) The wine specials were a real bargain. 4) The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
My wife and I made reservations for her birthday. It was my first time at the restaurant. The service was amazing. The food was delicious. I could have picked anything and it would have been perfect. This is my favorite spot whenever I’m in South Carolina. I particularly enjoy the meatloaf and the fried flounder dinner, but everything I’ve tried there has been delicious. The service is excellent as well. It’s a Southern food restaurant with a creative twist, and I absolutely love the flair!
WOW!!! This place is absolutely fabulous in every respect. My son, daughter in law and granddaughter treated me tonight with a visit here to celebrate my birthday. This was my first visit (and God willing it certainly won’t be my last
The duck was my personal favorite, my family enjoyed the fried chicken, salmon, and halibut. Grits were delicious, okra was really good too. The drinks were great. Intermittently good service. The highlight: peach bread pudding.
Haven 't had the main courses. We did have the frozen custard. We now joke about the custard soup . Our custard was mostly melted on our walk from the counter to our table. West Columbia. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Been away for a while. Pleasantly surprised! Short ribs, fried chicken, greens, mashed potatoes. Good service, nice relaxing atmosphere. Will be back soon.
