My adult daughter and I were looking for somewhere to have tea during the week between Christmas and New Year. We were delighted to discover Mulberry House! Sit down tea is in the cozy dining room on the 2nd floor (make a reservation to avoid disappointment as it is quite small). The price was very reasonable: less than $40 for 2 people. We particularly liked the fact that all sandwiches were made to order and that you got to select your sandwiches, sweets and flavor of scones from a list of choices. Being British, I really enjoy simple, classic flavors and I had that option (so often I get stuck with some trendy weird scone or sickly sweet pastry). You also got to start with a bowl of soup...
I just celebrated my daughter’s baby shower at this place. I wanted a garden-themed tea party Mulberry House did not disappoint! Jenna her staff were extremely helpful, friendly went over beyond. My only problem is, they have way too many great options to choose from, the food teas were delicious. I want them all! It’s such a beautiful, quaint place. Highly recommend! Went here with my mother for lunch, ordered the afternoon tea for two. We both had a wonderful time--food was tasty, very nice presentation, restaurant had quiet, sunny atmosphere. Would definitely recommend, especially for a mother-daughter outing.
