the food here is great, however the workers are so extremely rude. my friend and i came here and were very excited to try it for the first time so we eagerly asked the woman what the different options were (bowl,wrap,salad etc. she rudely goes “the menu is behind you” she then scooped my friend buffalo chicken after asking for grilled chicken and then was rude about having to fix it. the other woman refused got extremely hostile with me when i asked if it was olive oil in the oil and vinegar dressing because it is not specified anywhere. my friend then said we are paying separate and she told us the bread was extra since she didn’t get a salad but rather a bowl. we didn’t ask about bread but...
Even though the food is good, recently the staff has been unnecessarily rude and ungenerous with portions at Nalley Fresh in Timonium, MD. The meals themselves are going downhill because of this. There is a large variety of items to include in the salad. The prices are good for the amount of salad purchased. However, recently, the staff is really irritated when you ask to include more toppings salad dressing in the dish. I politely mentioned to the staff that the large number of toppings in the salad is the primary reason I come to Nalley for lunch. The salad bar offers a wide variety of toppings, and the prices are reasonable considering the quantity. However, I've noticed that the staff has been quite irritable when I ask for more toppings or salad dressing. I kindly explained that one of the main reasons I choose Nalley for lunch is because of the extensive topping options. With so many lunch spots nearby, it seems essential for them to work on attracting customers. Instead of being accommodating, one staff member pointed to the exit and told me to go elsewhere for lunch, which was incredibly rude. This is not how customers should be treated. When I went to check out, I was informed that the two-for-one special was no longer available. Rather than offer me the salad for free to ensure customer satisfaction or as an apology for the inconvenience, the cashier told me it would be thrown away or taken home by the staff. I’m not sure how the management operates here since I haven’t encountered them, but I can definitely speak to the poor customer service I’ve received multiple times at this location. Tonight was the last time I would tolerate such negative energy from a staff that is clearly lacking. My buddy and I ended up splitting a chicken parm and Greek salad… it turns out the BYO salad does not stand for Bring Your Own. The staff had a good laugh at that and they were very accommodating. We didn’t make a reservation in advance but they got us a table with a decent view right up front. The xfinity wifi from the First Watch next door is kind of weak so I took a star away for that only. All in all, there were plenty napkins, the restroom attendant had plenty of mouth wash options to choose from and this Jongen was reasonably satisfied. #bigbackpack #pbboyzbackatit #thewhacker
Fresh is not just in the name: it's their calling card. It's like a chipotle with three times the options and with a more varied flavor pallet (Asian, barbecue, Cajun, etc. . We come here every time we're in town. The ONLY reason it loses 1 star is that it's fairly spendy; we average around $16 per person, and I really don't think it should be quite that much. Though, the portions are well sized and the food is delicious.
I go to this Nalley fresh all the time, so I’m sad to finally leave this review, but as a new plant-based eater, I really appreciate a little bit of patience when ordering, and the young man that is typically they’re serving bowls is very impatient and a bit rude Every single time that I’m there. I’ve recently been going to Cava instead but missed the Nalley Bowls. ?
My son picked up a salad for me on Saturday night, and the woman who served him was very rude. They had run out of pulled chicken, bread, and asparagus. I called today to speak with the manager just to inform him about the situation. However, he was quite condescending and did not apologize. I will not be returning to this restaurant. The food is alright but the employees at the Hunt Valley location need a serious attitude adjustment. I'm not sure if they are racist, miserable or both but their attitudes stink! I will not be returning until this issue is addressed and improved. I refuse to spend my money to be mistreated.
