We went to Neelam’s on 07/09/23 for dinner buffet (coming from Jersey City and Edison) where we do not have dinner buffets, this was a pleasant surprise. The ambience is very good. The restaurant is very clean. They had limited options in the buffet (not an elaborate one for weekend). But the food was good. Pros: 1. Chicken curry and dal was delicious 2. Tea was good (which is bad in most other places) 3. Service was very good. They were prompt to removed used plates, refill etc 4. Price was nominal (post-Covid) Cons: 1. How is this place not packed 24/7?!?!? The food was amazing and the entire atmosphere was calm and inviting! I ordered a chai to drink and the waitress suggested the Channe Ki Chaat as an appetizer. I did not regret it! I also ordered the garlic nann and shrimp Tikka marsala for dinner with medium spice. It was perfect. It had just the right amount of heat to make you pause before the next bite but also kept the flavor. The prices are reasonable but I felt like it was a steal with how good it was.
Hands down absolutely love this place, whether just for a quick bite or gathering with friends. They also have an all you can eat buffet style for $22 on Sundays were they have everything from select apps, entrees and dessert. Their rasmalai is so creamy and flavorful.
We went today and it happened to be buffet, was absolutely outstanding!!! Everything was so delicious i was really enjoying every bite. For 20$ it cant be beat honestly. The butter chicken was unbelievable. Had kheer for dessert, killer. Loved everything about it!!

Let me start out by saying, I have been going to Neelam for YEARS. They are always consistent, always friendly, and ALWAYS delicious. I make sure to come here every single time I am back in New Jersey! The chicken chilli and veggie tikka masala are must tries!

Wonderful and distinctive, they have a great selection of meals, appetizers, and breads. Service is good and the atmosphere is comfortable.
By far, one of our favorite places for an authentic and friendly experience. Attentive staff and delicious food, all reasonably priced.
