I used to dine at this restaurant frequently before I retired. However, my last visit in July 2015 was disappointing as I found a used sugar packet stuck to the bottom of my glass after drinking almost all the water. When I informed the waitress, she quickly removed it, but the manager tried to suggest that I had placed it there myself. I have not returned since and recommend double checking all your items. I had also made a complaint 9 years ago, which seems to have been deleted. I just wanted to update my review. On a positive note, the Shelby Township location has always been consistently good.
I wasn't impressed with the traditional Greek dish I tried during my first visit to this restaurant. However, the service was great both times and the interior and bathroom were very clean. On the recommendation of a coworker, I decided to give it another shot and ordered the spinach and feta omelette for breakfast, which was very good. Overall, the breakfast options are impressive and the lunch menu, including sandwiches like hamburgers and patty melts, are worth trying.
This restaurant is a go-to for breakfast and lunch. Everything is made in-house and tastes delicious. I particularly enjoy their rotating soup menu, especially the Navy Bean soup on Mondays. The staff knows my usual order of soup and the Greek Chicken salad, which is always delicious. I have never had a bad meal here and the service is always great.
The prices are increasing while the quality is decreasing at this restaurant. I have visited three times and only enjoyed one good meal. The service is satisfactory. I dined in for lunch and spent between $1 and $10 per person. The food was rated a 3, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.
