Their pizza is both stunning in appearance and delicious in taste, with obviously high quality cheese, sauce and bread. Their pasta is equally as good if not better, and the sauce tastes incredible, with the Penne Vodka being one of my favorites and a standout highlight. Pretty much sole downside is just the price, which is fairly expensive, especially with their special topping pizza. Nevertheless, you do get what you pay for. Also, while their garlic bread is fantastic, I don't believe they offer anything smaller or cheaper.
I am glad I found this place, the pizza, theme, service were all excellent. I had a pizza with walnuts first time ever) it was awesome. I ordered a margarita slice, but was given a pepperoni by accident, they noticed it before I even got the slice) they told me to keep it, and they would give me the one I wanted free, they said take it home , that is excellent service right there. My son just moved to Astoria, I will be coming here every time I visit. Nonna 's is a must try... P.S. the place was extremely clean!!
Place was very trendy. Excellent service and the food was tasty. I'm not sure though I would return because it was very pricey. Two slices 6.50-8.50 each and a parm platter $18. Two sodas. 6.75 about $40 total for basically two grandma slices and a pasta platter. Anywhere else. $20 tops. It was an experience, which I did because I saw nonnas on the food network or on Instagram or something. Enjoy the experience. Bring your wallet. You won't see me there though, after all it's just pizza at the end of the day.
I've tried them via Caviar Delivery and was amazed. If take out is this good can't wait to eat in store. Had baked ziti and fried chicken once and the rollatini eggplant with salad next time. Everything was proportionally PERFECT and was prepared and packed the right way. I don't know how they did it... nothing was wanting of anything more or less. It was just perfect. Will be frequenting this place! Oh, and the menu choices are fantastic. Lot's of stuff I can't wait to explore.
Delicious authentic Italian pizza! The place had a very nice chill atmosphere, and the guy who help us was very nice. The The tiramisu was amazing too. This place is very close to Astoria Park you can have a pizza romantic date and go on a nice walk to the park ? ? The two of us ordered a whole pie and we took what was left and we eat them the next day and it was still delicious.
Pretty cool pizza place with a different touch on the usual New York crust and plenty of different options to customize your pie. Usually order for delivery, but one night I actually went and dined in and it was a good place for that as well. Love the interior with bikes and rock music themed gadgets. Oh, and pizza is really good. Plus, if you have a sweet tooth, go for Tiramisu
I had dinner with a friend here. We got chicken parm, eggplant rollatini, and a caesar salad. The chicken parm was mediocre, and the salad felt very phoned in. I also did not appreciate that there is an upcharge to have the chicken parm split into two to-go containers instead of one.
This is the best pizza I've ever eaten. The slices have the perfect balance of sauce and cheese. The crust is light, and the selection of toppings is incredible. The prices are very reasonable considering the generous amount of toppings on certain slices.
The pizza is decent, but the delivery service is awful. I suggest opting for pick-up or ordering from a different restaurant if you prefer having your food delivered.
