Brookwood Grill is consistently excellent. We dine here often for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and drinks, and it never disappoints. The wait staff is fantastic, knowledgeable about the menu, and always attentive to refilling beverages and providing anything we may need. Party of 7 ladies celebrating our birthdays. It has been ages since I visited this restaurant. The wait staff was extremely polite helpful. We all loved the French onion soup as so many patrons do. I ordered the Cesar salad with grilled chicken. As per Brookwood's standards the salad was huge. It was great but the sliced chicken was extremely dry tough. It was the same the last time I was at this restaurant. I couldn't choke it down. After one bite I offered it to my friend for her dog. Surely I'm not the only person who has experienced this. The restaurant owners should understand that they take a pretty handsome buck for the food that they serve and when the food is below par, it not only ruins the money, it brings distaste for days to come about the whole experience of eating out. I don’t know how to trust 4.7 reviews in 3.6k people. Are these AI created? We eat out a lot and know how fresh food tastes like. Other than cesear salad , everything else was not worth eating. The grilled chicken in sandwich was dried overheated burnt and chewy. Everything you can imagine with a pre cooked chicken breast. The bun quality was Walmart standard off the shelf buns. The pasta lacked flavor. The dessert was average. Overall pretty sad.
The staff is friendly and did their job well. The food was delicious and the drinks were made well. I had a NY strip steak cooked medium well and it was perfect. The Mac n cheese was awesome. The broccoli was kind of bland. The Cajun chicken andshrimp pasta was very tasty. The pork tenderloin with a mango chutney was delicious. The spinach dip was delicious. The food at this restaurant was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. While it could have used a bit more seasoning, overall it was still a great meal. The prices were reasonable, with our bill coming to around $75 for two meals and two drinks. My husband and I had a wonderful time, thanks to the excellent service and inviting atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back in the future.
My husband and I went to this restaurant for brunch after a pleasant walk on the Vickory Creek Trail. Because they were short-staffed, we sat at the bar. He ordered the salmon and I ordered the fajita omelet. The food was delicious and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be returning!
Pretty classy, upscale establishment with a decor to match. You always feel welcomed upon entering. Haven't tried everything on the menu but so far, I'd recommend the glazed salmon and mashed sweet potatoes. The flavor and presentation were amazing!
