I recently ordered the iced jelly ring latte from this restaurant, which cost over $8. Unfortunately, it did not resemble the advertised version on Instagram at all. It lacked whipped cream, raspberry sauce, and only had a minimal drizzle on the bottom. Additionally, it was not cold and did not taste good. I was very disappointed with the quality, especially considering the price. I will not be returning to this establishment and will recommend others to avoid it. The restaurant should definitely improve their menu items, especially considering the high prices.
I tend to judge these specialty donut shops by their srvice, coffee, and their version of an old fashioned donut. This shop does not disappoint. The Call Me Old Fashioned is great even without the powdered sugar and the coffee is very good. Service has been very good the several times I have visited this shop.
The donuts here are great. They are quite expensive but calorie wise its probably something close to a big mac value meal. I can eat maybe 2 bites and I'm a big guy. The coffee here was a surprise. Its actually quite good and better than a lot of local shops.
I was quite disappointed when I walked in to find out that they only serve vegan donuts on the weekends. There was some confusion as to why I was even asking. I'm not sure if Happy Cow had the information wrong, but it was still disappointing.
