We took a family from interstate in January and ordered a few dishes. a vegetable dish with BBQ pork was charged a small cup of boiled white rice was each. Lets see: a can of coke was glass of lemonade so for glasses with ice was and pots of tea was each. So the soft drinks and tea totalled When asked if these prices were advertised, we were told yes, they were. In fact we checked the prices on the net before we went there and they were old listings. Never go there again.
We were recommended by the pub across the road to come here. After reading bad reviews we thought it was a no go but the food here is good, service was great, value was epic pp for people and took take away because...we didn’t finish) highlights were fried rice, ginger and prawn dish, honey chicken was amazing, prawn toast is a no brainer so was the crispy skin chicken! Would not get the chicken chow mein or the won ton soup. Great local stop for tourists.
Had dinner here days ago and are still suffering. The table service was fine and the food looked and tasted ok I had the sweet and sour pork but within hours of eating was suffering! Unfortunately we were leaving the next morning...so never had the opportunity to speak to the restaurant directly. Definitely won't be going back.
This restaurant is family run, and has apparently been a part of Sandy Bay for quite a few years. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful with menu choices, and our order arrived promptly. Called in for take a way to have with friends close by. Easy order on the phone and ready to go when we arrived. Food was fresh and tasty, but like a lot of Chinese, getting very expensive, especially for take a way.
First time there. Went with distant family. Settled on the banquet, a great selection of entrees, mains and desserts. Reasonabley priced, friendly attentive staff. Recommend to anyone visiting Hobart.
Have been twice. Will certainly return on a regular basis. The food is old fashioned Chinese and is excellent. Prices are good withe very helpful staff and a pleasant atmosphere.
The price is too far expensive. per kg for lobster, is it a joke? In Crown Casino, Melbourne, it is only per kg. John Dory, per kg. Anyway, never go back again. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is our third visit here over the last years and the food and service is still as good as ever. I am sure that when we visit again we will eat here.
