Me and my wife after a hard working week on a Saturday decided to go for a relax meal at Original Joes, when we walked in at 4pm it was practically empty, we place our order at 4:15pm for soup and a lasagna. At 4:45 we still had no food, I ask the waitress how long would it take for a bowl of soup, she said its coming. Other people started coming in and we notice they were getting their food before us and it was 6pm and still no food, the waitress just said it is coming and I ask her why we weren't getting our food and her reply was they were busy. Remember when we came in it was not busy and all the people coming afterward was being served and food coming to them, finally we got our soup at...
My friend and I decided to stop by for lunch after seeing a sign advertising Tuesday wings for 49 cents at this restaurant. We arrived around 1pm and ordered the wings, which were below average. However, when we finished, we were presented with a bill for $70 and told that wing night didn't actually start until 2pm. The waitresses never mentioned this to us, and there was no indication on any of the signs that the deal didn't start until 2pm. We were expecting to pay $20 for 40 wings (4 pounds) and $27 for two iced teas, not $70 for subpar wings. The wings were also not worth $15 a pound. Worked there for 8 months, got fired in a fit of rage on the spot. Waited almost 2 months for my last paycheque and I had to hound them like a collection agent. I can tell you the owner of this particular OJ's treats his staff very poorly. We all did our best while working there but working for this guy was hell. I hold the staff in high regard, they are all good but lacking leadership and proper management. So sorry for all of your negative experiences at this resturant and the embarassing reviews I've read about my ex-employer. I'd recommend trying Montana's next door instead of this dumpster fire of an OJ's
I know that I can stop at any of the Original Joe’s and I will never be disappointed. Well this place just proves my point. Very easy to find just off the main highway going through Ft St John. Lots of parking, large restaurant lots of seats and awesome service just like always. Natasha had me sitting at a table with a cold Corona in no time at all. I ordered the Tempura Shrimp and the Jalapeño MAC in Cheese. What an awesome combo. Very busy place and I never waited for anything, she was an awesome server. Prices were reasonable and the portions were great. I will be coming back again without a doubt.
I recently had a business lunch at this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. The hamburger I ordered was barely warm and the fries were awful. However, the waitress was very kind and promptly brought me a fresh order of fries. Additionally, she discounted my meal by 20%. Feeling bad for her, I decided to order dessert, which brought the total bill to $20. I left a $3 tip, but unfortunately, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
Went to original joes today and got excellent service from Tyanna, I’m extremely happy with how it went! The food was amazing and fast, and the service was 10/10! If you go to original joes I highly recommend sitting in Tyannas section! Thanks for the great experience :
Driving to Alaska with my son, we stopped here for dinner. The place was very busy and loud so not the best if you are looking to have a conversation. Lots of beverage options and food options. Service was quick and the food portions large tasty. Happy we stopped there.
We made a reservation 45 minutes before our arrival for a party of 15. When we arrived, our table was already set up, the service was excellent, and the food came out quickly. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal and left satisfied.
Came in on a Sunday night. Just myself and 1 couple in the place to start. Sat at the bar and had some very good conversations. Love the kona burger and dill dip for the fries. Good experience and food.
