My husband and I went there after his training for the day. We were greeted right away and quickly sat- even with the busy lunch hour. Coming in you could see how popular the place was, so I had a feeling that the food would be good. Now, I’m picky with salsa and love it spicy- which it was spicy for my husband (I have a relatively high spice tolerance), but the salsa was still delicious for me! I have to say it’s probably the best salsa I had in a while. I am vegetarian, so I always order from that menu- which their food was good! I enjoyed what I ordered and would love to go back when I am near the naval base. I live in Franklin and do travel regularly to Norfolk, so I plan on coming back...
Being from Southern California, our expectations for Mexican food are high. The salsa had a spicy kick and the tacos were delicious. The enchilada was good but could have used a bit more heat. The margaritas were excellent! Overall, we were very satisfied with our meal. This restaurant is a great option for those with gluten allergies. There are at least 30 parking spots available, with more available on the road if needed.
The food was good which is why we keep going back. Service is quick and orders are spot-on every time though we have only everjust pointed to what we want.. The ONLY complaint is that two-way communication is nearly impossible. I don't know Spanish and the wait staff only has a tenuous grasp of English.
This restaurant is one of my favorites outside of Norfolk, Nova Scotia. I recently tried the Mole and was slightly disappointed as it tasted like it came from a can. It was still decent, but everything else about the meal was fantastic. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

The Mexican food at this restaurant is excellent, with prices that are affordable and service that is top-notch. Located near NAVSTA NORFOLK.
Went 2 3 times last year. Good food and good service. I'd love to get their salsa receipe though. I enjoyed it a lot better than most.
