This is undoubtedly the BEST ITALIAN FOOD outside of Sicily. My favorites are the fried artichokes, warm olives, and branzino. I 've tasted most of the pastas and they are all savory and delicious, too. The desserts are made in-house, and I recommended the olive oil cake or the homemade biscotti with vin santo. Perfect palate cleansers! The wine list has wines from some of my favorite Sicilian wine producers like Benanti and Planeta. There are also plenty of by- the- glass options. We met our friends for a Friday evening dinner at Osteria da Nino, with a 6:30 reservation for four. We were greeted in a very welcome manner and given our choice of seating. It was a nice, comfortable table for four. I recognized our person-able server, from the last time we had visited. He explained the specials for the night, including appetizers, then we placed our drink orders. The choices were diverse and reasonably priced. It was a wonderful evening interesting conversation and delicious food. We look forward to visiting, again, within the next two months.
Osteria de Nino is a neighborhood gem. the service is always superb and dining is cosy yet not on top of fellow diners. The owner always visits with diners, chatting and ensuring all is well with the meal. I had the beet salad and eggplant Parmesan. The presentation was lovely and the food delicious!!!!
We came to celebrate a special occasion. We wanted the best and we were not disappointed! Let Nino select the wine. Caprese salad was a great starter. Lasagna was one of the specials. I recently had a casual dinner on a weekday at this restaurant. The fried artichoke appetizer was outstanding. The Tagliatelle Bolognese and carbonara were both prepared perfectly, just as they should be. They also offer a great selection of wines by the glass.
We are long-term customers at this restaurant and remain fans of the hearty, tasty food, the potent cocktails, and the attentive staff. We especially appreciate the time that Nino takes to check in with all of his diners to ensure that all is well.
The dinner and atmosphere are always fantastic at this restaurant. The server was amazing, but unfortunately, the owner never stopped by our table, even though he spent a lot of time with other customers. It felt a bit rude.

Fantastic service, consistently good dishes, and just an incredible wine list. Nino's is my local go-to and is definitely where you want to go to do a deep dive on Italian wines. I love this place!
