I had been a long time patron of this steakhouse. Id ordered the Victorias Filet Mignon*, 8oz size medium-rare with seasonal mixed veggies and an "everything" baked potato. The potato was incredibly tiny, certainly no Russet. Thats okay, Id seen it before from this particular location (its approximately half the size of a baked potato youd receive at an "authentic" steakhouse). When I checked the "season mixed veggies" I was disappointed to see Id received 3 pieces of microwaved broccoli. All that said, I couldve likely dealt with the poor sides... however, not only was the steak unimpressive, it was the wrong cut entirely. I had not been to an Outback in years. The last time I went the decor was lackluster and the food was salty. My friends from out of town suggested this location as it was close to their hotel. I called around 12pm for 630pm seating, we arrived and waitinganother 10 minutes, no problem. The first thing I noticed was the remolded look that was very inviting. Service was prompt. Wedid feel a little rushed to order and get the check. I had the blooming fried chicken, it was tender, juicy and crispy! Myfriends had steak and chicken that was perfect. The carrot cake was excellent and their cheesecake looked amazing. Greatexperience, tasty meal and superb service. I'll be back! Thanks Outback team!
my man and I always seem to forget how close we are to this restaurant. So we decided to go to dinner. the website seemed simply enough to create the order, but of course, even after confirming my completed order by a worker, my order was still incorrect! what I discovered when I came to home! smh, I waited for 20 to finally talk to the manager in the service, only to “tune” to the missing article and no offer to correct it at this moment! I'm not sure, but I'm still unhappy and it makes me very tired to return to this facility. I feel like it wasn't professional or with care especially been treated by a manager's point and I'm gonna get in touch with corporate!
Rudest hostess I've ever met.Arrived at 7p to the most snarky, grumpy, angry hostess I have ever encountered.Food was good, but had to reorder 3 of our four meals due to them not having roast beef in stock. This should be something the table is told before orders go to the kitchen.Ordered two Thunder down under' desserts, that didn't arrive at the same time. One arrived after our guests had finished theirs.This location has many issues to work out before they even come close to the other Outbacks in quality and service.Very disappointing.

I am updating my review of Outback Steakhouse that I posted earlier this week. While my previous meals had been excellent, my most recent dinner did not meet the usual standard. Outback corporate addressed my concerns and resolved the issue. I appreciate when companies listen to feedback as it benefits both the customer and the business. The manager in Eastern NC appears to be committed to ensuring customers have a positive dining experience.
This location is truly wonderful! The service is fast, the environment is open and friendly the servers are all welcoming! I go to this location quite often with my mom and we have taken notice that we normally get Brent as a server and he is amazing!!! He is highly personable, always makes us laugh and always makes sure that we are well taken care of! Thank you Brent for being awesome and to the whole Outback community here in Cary!
Terrible. The bacon: greasy and so hard a steak knife couldnt cut it, the chicken : bland, tough way over cooked and not cut, baked potato : not cut and the toppings were skimpy, the Caesar salad was really good and tasted fresh. No napkins or plastic silverware. Save yourself some money and make shake and bake chicken at home with bacon crumbles way better.
We were seated right away on a Wednesday night. Very friendly waiter. Had the blooming shrimp, and it was okay; it's a very good portion size, but breading is a tad too salty and too thick for shrimp, in my opinion. The Alfredo pasta was delicious; askedfor steak well-done, and it came out well, but still good. Husband liked his Prime Rib Sandwich.

We were in the restaurant on 4/10 and Liz B was our waitress. She was the bubbliest, friendliest waitress and made sure we were taken care of. My husband has high standards for waitresses and as we were leaving he said she was the best waitress I have had in a long time That is a huge comment within itself. Thanks for a great experience Liz B!!
