We wanted to revisit the Pad Thai Kitchen for lunch yesterday with a friend, as it had been many years since we last dined there since we no longer live nearby. It had been about 14 years since our last visit. We enjoyed the lovely weather by sitting outside and each started with a Singha beer. I ordered the veggie stir-fry with tofu, while my partner chose the Pad Sew Woon with mixed vegetables, and our friend opted for the Happy Lemongrass Chicken. The food and drinks were excellent, just as we remembered. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. We're so glad we decided to return. The outdoor seating was comfortable and inviting. I used to believe that this restaurant served the best pad thai in Portland and was a regular customer. However, the pad thai I ordered recently had a horrible fishy taste from the squid, and while eating the garlic beef, I discovered a plastic foreign object. I had to throw both dishes away. This isn't the first time I've had an issue; I once found a similar plastic object in their pad thai as well. I had hoped to give them another chance, but I'm very disappointed. I won't be ordering from here again.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food and service were excellent. I can't wait to have their hot Thai tea again! The yellow curry and drunken noodles were flavorful and served in generous portions. For appetizers, we tried the crab puffs and egg rolls, both of which were delicious. My daughter and I enjoyed shrimp spring rolls, shrimp pad Thai, and mango sticky rice, accompanied by Thai iced tea, and everything was absolutely delicious. The shrimp in the pad Thai was cooked to perfection as well. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable. I highly recommend this place! Food: 5/5
I absolutely loved dishes #96 and #4! I hope the numbers help you figure out what I ordered. This was my second time trying #96, and it was just as delicious as I remembered. The fried wontons (#4) were fantastic, especially with the dipping sauce. Two thumbs up!
I had the drunken noodles and steamed rice, and I’m definitely a fan of the drunken noodles. I also love the sweet sticky rice, so I was disappointed to find it's no longer on the menu. They always deliver on taste!
This time, the Pad See Ew was quite dry, whereas it had been delicious in the past. I think I’ll order from a different place for Pad See Ew next time. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food was very tasty and came in a generous portion. I requested it to be spicy, but it turned out to be quite mild, though still delicious.
