A neighborhood gem. I work nearby and was a little bit nervous when ownership change hands. Boy was I wrong.The food is better and consistently good. The hallmarks of the menu, constantly changing soups, salads and sandwich specials, have remained.As a person with Gluten sensitivity, the team at Palermo’s does an amazing job of making sure that everything I eat is safe and delicious.If you’re in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and grab a lunch. I recommend the Cubano on a gluten free wrap warm with the soup of the day.
I recently visited this charming sidewalk café, and I can definitely say that I will be back! This clean, cozy spot, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, offers a wonderful variety of fresh options. The menu at Palermo features sandwiches, salads, soups, and seasonal specials. Don't forget to take a moment to chat with the owners, Shirley and Mike—they are such warm and welcoming hosts!
What a fantastic little find! I had the corned beef Reuben, and it was absolutely delicious! The corned beef was freshly cooked, and the marble rye bread was some of the best I've ever tasted. I dined outdoors, and the waitress was very friendly. I will definitely be coming back!
