The food is good actually really good!… but if you want good service or even to be treated with the slightest but of respect from the guy at the front, dont go here. He was super rude I even asked to have the wrap cut in half when I was placing the order it was not cut in half when I received it I kindly asked him to cut it in half he gave me the dirtiest look and did not say a word and went to the back to get the cutting board and cut the wrap in half for me but even when I was ordering he was very rude his tone was horrible and you just don’t feel appreciated because at the end of the day you choose to go to somebody’s business and if they don’t respect you While you’re in the restaurant t...
The staff mentioned that the owner would contact me later to find a solution. Although the restaurant has great reviews and the food smells amazing, I was unable to actually try it due to the undercooked dish. Neither the restaurant nor Skip the Dishes were able to provide me with dinner that night. Despite the owner reaching out to apologize and Skip the Dishes refunding the inedible dish, I was left disappointed with the overall experience. While I may consider trying this restaurant in the future, I will not be ordering through Skip the Dishes again.
I had a chicken shawarma which truly was first class. The last time I ate a chicken shawarma was at “Sam’s in Cyprus and I never thought I would find a one as good as Sam’s. It turns out I was wrong and the one I had today at Palmyra was as good and possibly better than Sam’s. I highly recommend Palmyra for excellent food and excellent customer service. The server from Syria was great! I will certainly be back again!
This is one of my top Middle Eastern restaurants in Surrey, BC that I frequently recommend to my friends and family. The menu is exceptional, with dishes that are flavorful and reminiscent of homemade meals, especially their special bread. I have also utilized their catering service for both dinner and sandwich options during special church events.
Update: Tried their Lamb Gyro Wrap for lunch and it was really good. The lamb was nicely seasoned and paired well with their hot sauce and dressing. The restaurant was spotless this time, which we assumed was due to being busy during our previous visit. For this reason, I am giving them a perfect score of 5.
I ordered the chicken salad and baba ghanoush through UberEats and it was incredibly satisfying! I was looking for a healthier food option and these dishes exceeded my expectations. The ingredients tasted fresh and delicious when mixed together. I highly recommend it!
for the first time ordered here and eating was really good. I ordered mixed scarwarm plate, lateral order of falafel and babaganoush. all delicious. great portions, cheap prices, nice staff. I would definitely recommend and I will add this place to my regular rotation
