I live in Jackson and travel all over the US. I hardly get time to catch them open! I can tell you now I just had in the top ranks of the best breakfast I've EVER had, and most certainly the best I know of between Greenville SC and Savannah Ga. Insouthern speak, It's like going to grandma's for breakfast.....if grandma charged you 10 bucks and dropped 20lbs+ of amazinghome-cooked breakfast in your lap...the amounts are very generous. The food is cooked home-style, even crazier it's a buffet!I've had their lunch and dinner and it was always good, I had no complaints.....but that breakfast....that is a differentanimal. It's in a league of its own. I'd give it 7 stars if I could.
Found Papa's while riding the Harley today. I had a BLT with a side salad. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and the sandwich was made with ample bacon on Texas toast. They even had balsamic dressing. The price was reasonable. This was a good stop, and it won't be the last time either.
This was my very first experience and I left a very happy man. The breakfast I had really made me second guess other breakfast style restaurants. Everything was cooked just how I like it and our server, Jessica was simply awesome. Definitely recommendthis restaurant to everyone.

This is some really good southern cooking!! The food is always served hot and fast. The staff is so amazing so friendly. The fried chicken is soooo good. Make sure you get there early it will be packed by 11:30!!
Nothing fancy but the place was clean and the food was good. We stopped for lunch on the way to Hilton Head Island and we will definitely stop again when heading to the coast.
Pretty good. Got one order wrong and quickly corrected it. Nice staff. Very busy, but service was quick. Wish they served breakfast a little later than 10:30 though.
Love some Papa's Kitchen at lunchtime. Burgers are great here and the other items on the menu are good too. Fried chicken is always very good when on the menu.

Stopped in for a business lunch and was not disappointed. Friendly staff. Food was delicious! Try the chicken pot pie.
