The waitress at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen was friendly but incredibly slow. The food did not justify the price, even during lunch hours. The fried fish was so thin that there was hardly any meat, and splitting the shrimp to make the portions look bigger felt misleading. Most dishes were overwhelmed with an excessive amount of french fries. The Alaskan King crab was old and unusually thin for $99. The manager did remove the charge from the bill. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. My mother tried to make a reservation for five people on a Saturday at 5 PM, but we were told they don’t take reservations. When we arrived at 4:30 PM, we had a hard time finding parking and were informed that there would be a wait of 1 to 1.5 hours. Ultimately, we ended up waiting an hour and a half before being seated. The service was slow, and all of our food arrived at the same time. While some dishes were lacking, the drinks were enjoyable. Overall, the lengthy wait and mediocre service didn’t feel worth the price. I likely won’t return, especially on weekends when the wait is excessive and reservations aren't possible.

Wow! I visited Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen with seven coworkers while we were in town for work training. After we finished our meal, not a single person had a bad word to say about the place. To be honest, it’s a bit pricey compared to my usual on-the-road dinners. I started with the alligator appetizer and shared it with the group. My colleagues from New York, Chicago, Alaska, and Oregon were amazed by how delicious it was. For my main course, I chose the catfish dinner and enjoyed every bite!
