Update 15-September-2023 In reference to the poor response from the owner: Ive worked in the service industry for 10+ years. I was more commenting on the unprompted and rude behavior of your door guy. Though I guess I 'd be in a bad mood too if I looked the way he does, in his 40s and working the door at a bar. I hope things get better for him. I have been to this place a few times, and the bartenders always seemed unhappy/unfriendly. I went there again about a week ago to meet a group of friends. The door guy told me there was a cover at the door, it didn 't appear there was live music or drink specials, as I was deciding if it was worth it, he started repeating goodbye to me and my date. Par... Welllllll. If you want an after hours destination. This is the place for you. Amazing bartender s amazing security and a crowd so tight you better have your A-game on point. The only issue we had were the bathrooms. There was a line for 15 minutes but considering all the people in there it was expected . Hands down a parrrrrty crowd. Lots of energy
I'm from Argentina and I'm visiting St Louis to see America. Me and my friend went to Par Lounge and they refused to serve me because I did not have an American ID. This place is not friendly to foreigners! I would never recommend going here.
The owner is rude and disrespectful, and you might find yourself overcharged or double-billed. Furthermore, cars in the parking lot have been vandalized, and there have been reports of gunfire near the gas station.

This is an awesome spot with fantastic drinks. Lindsay was my bartender, and even though the bar was packed, it was clear she was dedicated to making sure I was well taken care of when I approached the bar.
If you enjoy a unique atmosphere and a sense of camaraderie, this might be the right spot for you. I can't comment on the cabbage soup, as I haven't had the chance to try it yet.
Let's be real Par is just ok. lol When it's super busy it's a bottle neck and drinks take fifty years to get. It's a cool place to go to see and be seen but that's about it
Great dive bar for after 1am when all the other bars close. A small group of young women would not feel safe. Mixed group of already drunk people enjoy this place.

If you’re looking for a bar where race isn’t a favor. Keep looking. I’ll never return and I’d highly advise against as a minority.
This is the best late-night bar in St. Louis! I love the staff and the vibe. My drink is always made just right!
