We found out about Paramjit's Kitchen when we came to Revelstoke as we were already out for few days and we're looking for some Indian food.Taste for vegetables was awesome not like regular places who claims to have Indian food but end up having sweet dishes no matter what. We could taste the spices in food which enhances the taste.Yes I was disappointed a little bit when found the naans (flatbread) is not made from scratch but overall taste covered up great. The service was really quick and awesome too. Friendly staff with kids.Highly recommended if you are passing by through Revelstoke, BC.It's worth a try. Ordered the butter chicken spätzle, which was phenomenal, and the vegetarian samosas, which were the best I've ever had. Also had their Blueberry Daiquiri (a daily special) and it was super tasty.I will say that our waitress wasn't on the ball with checking in with us, etc. and I saw another table had to flag down another waiter to order after they'd been sat, having waited for longer than necessary. But the wait staff was incredibly pleasant! We were also there when it was scorching hot and the place was stifling.
4 of us on a trip through Revelstoke thought we would try out this fusion restaurant. I had read previous reviews and was intrigued. They did not disappoint. From the moment you smelt the fantastic aromas to the heartfelt greeting coming through the door. They got each dinner perfect. The place is busy but the staff make this place hum. Fantastic flavors. We couldn't have been more pleased. Thanks guys.
I have never had a German-Indian fusion food experience. But Paramjit’s has turned this skeptic into a believer. The spätzle was elevated by the rich flavors of the shahi paneer. As for the butter chicken sauce schnitzel, the schnitzel was cooked to perfection. Paramjit gets both German and Indian classics right. If you are unsure, I suggest you give it a try. The food was good, but on the skimpy side. The service was bad including no one to ask how your meal is once you get served, can I get you more to drink or is there anything else you need. Finally someone asked us AFTER we were done eating.
We had a local tour guide mention this place and I'm glad he did! We really enjoyed the fusion food. I would love to pass through again and try something else on the menu! The staff were also very polite ?
Amazing fusion of food. Butter chicken with schnitzel and spetzle was incredible. They also had great goulash and German chocolate mousse cake. Would go back every day if I could.
