Parlay Cafe in Amsterdam really needs a new DJ. This was my third visit, and each time the music has been disappointing—no trending beats or lively tunes at all. I came on a Friday expecting energetic, hype music, but instead, the DJ played slow, sad songs that completely killed the vibe. I’m a mom looking for a fun night out to enjoy the atmosphere, but the music really brought my energy down. It was just a letdown. I also wish the store manager had been around so I could have addressed this directly. Service was excellent, but the atmosphere seriously needs improvement. Also, the menu itself is great, but the overall experience suffers due to the poor music.
