This would be star (or zero), but I feel as though there is more opportunity for this review to be seen if I select Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t expect a perfect experience from any hospitality venue during these current, unprecedented...times, especially within the first week of opening, however, from the service to the food, everything about my time here was deplorable. Went along here today for our first pint after lockdown now beer gardens are open. They have a lovely beer garden, well presented with a good number of tables to choose from while it still feels safe and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful...whilst still being busy taking orders at the table and running food and drinks from inside. We had a burger which was great. Would have happily sat there all day! Would recommend
Firstly, please ignore the review left by some numpty in April, I've looked at his reviews of other places and they're all bad!! The Parrswood is a lovely pub. The food we had was delicious and very reasonably priced. We eat here regularly and have...never been disappointed. This time we had the fish pie and the lamb shank, both generous portions, well presented and very tasty. Highly recommended. .
Had a really good meal at the Parrswood. Highly recommend the garlic prawn starter. Staff were really friendly and covid rules were well adhered to. The only downside was that the pub was very cold and there was no heating on. Otherwise all good and...food not to be missed.
