We stayed at an Airbnb in Pico Rivera for a couple of days, went to breakfast Sunday am, we were the 1st ones when they open. We weren’t sure of how it was going to go since the location is not in the main plaza and the parking is limited. We sat down and right away a server came and she was very friendly, pretty smile and attentive, yes even on a Sunday at 9am. I didn’t get her name since they don’t have a name tag. The food started to be served and it looked good, good side portions. The food tested good and the pupusas had lots lots of cheese and loroco, we will definitely stop by again if we’re ever in Pico Rivera. Sorry no pics was too busy enjoying the food and and the great service!
Wow! Let me tell you, this food really doesn’t stand a chance once it’s in front of me. It disappears so quickly! It’s the closest thing I’ve found in California that takes me back to El Salvador. The chorizos are always perfect, the plantains are crispy without being burnt, and the pupusas aren't greasy at all—just right for enjoying the meal. The service is decent too. A big shout-out to the chefs, cooks, and staff for bringing this place to life. I love stopping by for breakfast or lunch to satisfy my cravings. Treat yourself here! I would share photos, but I always dive right into my meal—maybe next time! Just a heads-up: parking can be tricky during busy hours.
On Sunday at 12:30 there were a good number of people waiting to sit. The host took my name and called me when a table was ready that lasted about 15 minutes. We ordered immediately and our food was in approx. 10-15 minutes, which is understandable due to the time it takes to make pupusas and the number of cartridges there. The agua de horchata was yummylicious and I tried a Pupusa de queso con loroco, one by carne asada con queso, and a revuelta. And they were all very good. I ordered some to go and they took about 30 minutes. You need more staff and are promotional job opportunities. Besides the comprehensible slow service, everything was on the point
Delicious pupusas and caldo! I was feeling unwell over the weekend and needed a comforting meal to lift my spirits, and this place did not disappoint. I placed my order ahead of time, and it was ready when I arrived. The cashier who handed me my order was incredibly warm and friendly, greeting me with genuine care and kindness. Her attitude alone would make me want to return for the food. There's nothing like great service and tasty food when you're not feeling your best. This is an excellent spot for Salvadoran cuisine. The service is outstanding, with a very friendly staff. The prices are fantastic; please don’t increase them like so many other places do. The interior is welcoming and visually appealing, with vibrant colors and a stunning mural.
Authentic and delicious, this restaurant truly evokes memories of El Salvador. Even though I've moved away from California, I make it a point to visit this place every time I'm back. The atmosphere is clean, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick.

Came here because my regular pupuseria was closed. The Service was great. Food tasted yummy. (But a little over priced)
