Went in for lunch and the restaurant was completely dead. Servers just sitting around looking like they needed customers (should have been a hint). First, I've never been to a restaurant where I paid for chips and salsa neither were fantastic and I was shocked to see them on my bill. Next, I can't complain about the service because I think they were so desperate for customers I got a lot of attention. My margarita had a small fly in it and I just set it aside because I was giving up when my food came anyway. The food is not good. Overpriced!!! Wine pours very short In small glasses. Bowl of green chili stew Was mostly broth, some chicken, few beans, and no cheese. Guacamole and tomatillo salsa were good. Chips were extremely salty. Had to ask for less salty chips and more water. We were there at 4 30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Not busy which was nice, but the bartender was overly attentive To the point of being obnoxious and always in our faces Smiling hard, and Asking what more we wanted. There was no reason for us to be so rushed. Verona is such a dead zone as far as getting some thing decent to eat and drink at a reasonable price.
This was so disappointing. We had to fan ourselves off because it was so damn hot. They said they are working on it. This is ridiculous! Years ago.....It smelled like sewer for years. I wish they would take care of their restaurant. I mostly feel sorry for the staff. It is 78° in the restaurant. I can't even imagine what the kitchen feels like.
Beautiful spot with outdoor seating overlooking a lake. Amazing food and service. We ate outside but indoors it was perfectly cool for a hot summer day. Very fast food service and friendly staff. Surprised it wasn't packed! Would definitely recommend 10/10.

Staff is treated unfairly by upper management, dreadful atmosphere for workers, if your children need jobs STAY AWAY. Nasty owners and no accountability.
Had not been there for years. Pleasantly surprised with the great dbl taco with guacamole. The 1/2 price Margarita was pretty strong!
Very poor treatment of staff, low morale. Typical trickle down effect. price doesn’t justify the halfway decent food. Stay away.
We ate outside. The patio was great! The Burrito Bowl was huge and so good! Service was so fast!
