The restaurant is quite small, and a young staff member seated us when we arrived. I pay close attention to hygiene and cleanliness when dining out, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The waitress who served me picked up my cup by the rim, touching my lipstick mark instead of using the handle. I then saw her head over to the register without washing her hands. There was a sink nearby, but nobody seemed to use it during my entire visit. I noticed only three servers handling multiple tasks, and at one point, one of them threw a dirty washcloth right behind the bar where they store clean coffee cups and silverware. Given all this, I might consider ordering takeout next time.
I ordered the chicken and waffles, and based on previous reviews and photos from other customers, I mistakenly thought they would be chicken wings. I should have checked first. However, the chicken breast was delicious, and the waffles were nice and fluffy. My husband had the eggs and sausage, and he enjoyed his meal. As for my hot chocolate, it tasted more like plain cocoa or just cocoa mixed with hot water. I’ll be sure to ask for it with milk next time. The yogurt with berries and granola was good, but they only gave me a teaspoon of granola, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.
We visited for the light display at NASA and decided to stay overnight at the Hilton. When we looked for a breakfast spot, we chose this restaurant based on the positive reviews. It was early Sunday morning, and while we expected a bit of a crowd, we arrived while church services were still ongoing. The food was fantastic, but what really stood out was the exceptional attentiveness and warmth from the staff! I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone. It’s definitely worth spending your money here!
Excellent service and delicious food! The portions were generous, and we received immediate service with no waiting time. We would certainly recommend this restaurant to others. The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 stars is that the bacon in my husband’s omelet wasn’t crispy, and my scrambled eggs were missing cheese. Always top notch food and service. Their country fried steak and bacon avocado benedict are especially noteworthy. Pictured today is The Driller with two strips of crispy bacon, two thick (and kinda amazing) sausage patties, three eggs over easy, cheesy grits and sourdough toast. All excellent! I ordered the Reuben sandwich and onion rings, accompanied by chocolate milk. Everything was DELICIOUS and served fresh and hot. Our server was very attentive, and the restaurant was clean, including the restroom. I give it a 5/5 and would definitely return. Thank you!
This place is fantastic! Service kind and attentive. The corn beef hash was stellar(I've not found a place that could make it properly in a long time), the pancakes were huge and so fluffy. And skillet potatoes perfect We will definitely be back soon.

This is my new favorite place to get breakfast at! I've been there twice now. Today was my 2nd time; I chose Pelican to have my birthday breakfast at. I want to come here enough times to try everything on the menu!
