Wow!! I've been here a couple of times to dine and for take out, and its honestly one of my new favourites. Food: 5/5. The food is super flavourable, not just some over production of seasonings and sauce. The pho soup is always seasoned well and taste home-made. Also got the thai mango salad which is a great sweet& sour appetizers to balance the savoury food! I also tried the vermicelli dish with chicken and shrimp surimi- ultimate craving satisfaction! Ambience: 5/5- what a beautiful restaurant. One of the cleaner and cozier viet restaurants I've been to. This restaurant is close to home, so we end up visiting it frequently. So we can only comment on the menu items that we have tried so far ...Appetizer: favorite one is the shrimp tempura, we usually end up ordering it. others that we've tried are calamari, won ton soup, and tom yum soup, all very good.Pho (noodle soup): excellent! love it!Egg-noodle: very good. have not had it in quite some time, so it was a welcome satisfaction to the taste budsRice dishes: my parents always order these, and they always enjoy it.Pad-Tai: unfortunately, way too salty the one time we tried it
Nice discovery on a snowy night: a great Vietnamese place in Beacon Hill. Partner ordered pho, I got the Bún bò Huế, which is a rich and spicy beef noodle soup. Both were outstanding! Nice, spacious dining room and frendly service. Fried veggie spring rolls were a bit bland, but we will come back for those delicious broths! My complaint with many pho restaurants is that, after you come home, you have to burn your clothes. Not so at Pho V. While out of the way in east Ottawa, if you are in the neighbourhood this is a must go--that is if you like Pho. The shrimp roll appetizer was deep fried and not at all greasy. You could taste the shrimp. I had Pho with beef. The broth was very delicate, the noodles were not overdone and the beef was flavourful. I would go again. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We have been here for lunch a few times, most recently in the past 2 weeks with another couple. The menu is extensive, the food arrives quickly, hot and delicious. Any of the Pho bowls are a good choice as is the Pad Thai. The menu offers a choice between a medium or large bowl - the medium is quite large and the "large" is huge. The shrimp tempura appetizer is excellent as are the vegetarian spring rolls.
Restaurant is very bright and clean , nice atmosphere.Had the Pho soup with beef and it was delicious , lots of beef , fresh vegetables and noodles and the broth chocked full of wonderful fragrances and tastes.Shrimp spring rolls as an appetizer were also delicious.Reasonably priced with a varied interesting menu.Will definitely return.
This Vietnamese restaurant serves fresh, tasty, perfectly spiced food. The plates are always beautifully presented, and the service is quietly efficient. All the dishes I have tasted to date are yummy. The restaurant itself is spotless, and there is easy access to parking. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I have been to many Pho place around town and I've been quite impressed with this one. Nice clean restaurant, awesome food and service. The beef you get in Pho is generous in size and tender. First time eating Vietnamese food and we loved it. Perfect for a winter day, warm, quality ingredients, healthy and in terms of size more than enough. Friendly staff, very nice venue and accessible parking. Great value and the tea is a plus! Definitely coming back
