I visited this local and renowned cake shop to indulge my craving for a beautiful cake. However, after noticing the awards it had won at the Pier competition, I decided to try the banh mi instead, as the fillings looked too tempting to resist. I have no regrets at all! The baguette was wonderfully crispy, and the rich fillings, complemented by a kick of chili, definitely earned my approval. Paired with a delightful Fonzie Abbot coffee, it was a satisfying meal that was well worth it. I previously rated this place 5/5 in February 2012 and January 2020, and it still deserves the same high praise!
Craved for a nice pie so dropped in this nearby home pie shop. It was not my first time here and I always love its early trading hour and tasteful pies. Ordered a mushroom and beef pie to go with a flat white. Service was very friendly. First sip of the Fronzie Abbot reflected its consistent standard. It was nice, hot and strong. First bite on the pie made flakes of pastry falling on the table and a large mushroom came out immediately from the fillings. Beef was tenderised and taste was balanced. average meal specials are a bit expensive for my budget, but are very tasty as I saw that other people get but fabulous service fantastic tasting eating
best pies, sausages roll n Vietnamese rolls that I have ever had. don't waste your time or money anywhere else.
