This place has sadly declined. The pizza used to be very good and unique. Now they are flat, over salted and burnt. Just ordered after giving it another chance after the last few disappointments and it was even worse. Eggplant parm grinder still had the eggplant skin on it. My 7 year old who would only ask for pizzaco refused to eat more than a few bites of one piece of cheese pizza and asked that we never order again. I agree with him. Frozen pizza is better and of course much cheaper. I was willing to pay the price in the past because it was good. That premium is no longer worth it.
Now, onto the food! The atmosphere was lovely, reminiscent of those off-the-beaten-path Italian eateries we’ve visited. My husband ordered the gluten-free Figaro pizza, while I chose the butternut squash ravioli. The food was delicious, with the pizza served piping hot and flavorful, though the ravioli was a bit lukewarm and perhaps just a touch too rich for my taste. We sampled a red blend wine that was full-bodied and more satisfying than the two Pinots we tried. For dessert, we shared a refreshing limoncello with soda water, which was delightful and, of course, low in fat!
What a place with character! This restaurant is truly one of a kind in Connecticut. The pizza is fantastic, and their drink offerings make for a delightful brunch, lunch, or dinner experience. The atmosphere is incredible, and the location is super convenient, right across the street from one of Connecticut's most famous breweries. Plus, the staff is incredibly cool! We love everything about Pizza Co. Highly recommended!
Make sure to try the Pit Stop Pizza—you won't be disappointed! It's piled high with tender BBQ pulled pork, gooey cheese, pickled red onions, and more. We also ordered the smashed potato pizza, which was delicious and had a great crust. While the pizzas are technically personal-sized, they're definitely large enough to leave you with some leftovers. I decided to visit this restaurant on a whim, and it exceeded my expectations! I tried the Salad Pizza on a cauliflower crust, and it was incredible! Melissa was fantastic in assisting me with healthy menu options. The customer service was outstanding overall! This place is definitely worth a visit, and I will be returning for sure!
Excellent selection of beers and delicious pizzas. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Masks are required, and you can take drinks to go! The atmosphere is fantastic, especially with the locally brewed beers. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Plus, the Deep Eddy's Capri Sun packs were amazing!
I really enjoy their pizza; it has a thin crust and is very flavorful. They also offer a strawberry and Nutella pizza for dessert, which is quite nice—tastes more like a strawberry and Nutella crepe!
