Overall good, but with some flaws. First, I ordered The Stacker , and by its name and description, I expected something more substantial than what I received. The stack was more like a small mound, and there wasn 't much food. It also came with 4 slices of bread which I felt was unnecessary, and simply a way to fill you up without giving you much substance. The food itself tasted pretty good, but nothing particularly interesting. Secondly, we had a relatively large group which they were nice enough to accommodate. However, since many of us ordered the same thing, the waitress was very rude when I tried to verify with her if she was giving me my order (I asked for an extra runny yoke on my po...
poached is probably the sweetest, most cozy restaurant in saskatoon. this super narrow restaurant makes fabulous breakfast to eat. we spent a good (almost) three hours in the restaurant, eat and drink and pick up. it was such a warm environment, we didn't want to go! the freshly squeezed orange juice (mimosa read) is so good. we also made laughs and then finally breakfast. the crab cakes were good, and my friend liked their iceless omelette. but my favourite article in the menu must be the kartoffel croquettes. this place is ideal for an intimate meal. or maybe you could have the stand points and have a few more people! fyi: the restaurant is not wheelchair-friendly as the bathroom is down.
We were really looking forward to dining here. Server seated us promptly as we arrived shortly after 10.am. We had our orders taken and coffee was brought out. Some other customers were arriving and it got busy. We waited and waited. After three tables of customers(who all arrived after us) were brought their meals we made our way to pay for the coffee and leave. The manager showed us our order and said our order had only been placed 18 minutes ago. We left at 11.39 without having to pay for our coffee and feeling hangry. I cannot say what the food tastes like....it looked good from other customers tables. Good service means actually getting food. Our order got lost.
Delicious! I ordered the classic eggs Benny with a side of creamy hash brown cakes. It took an exceptionally long time (almost an hour, that I had to replenish parking) to get our food though for something that more than half the room was probably ordering the same thing that they’d be just cooking and flying out the door (ie. eggs Benedict). Always super busy so try to go before 1030 to get a table without waiting.
These maple bacon rollups are... when I was in town, I met a group of employees. I had the elderflower, grapefruit, prosecco drink (delicious) and the classic breakfast. it doesn't look like eating a lot, but it's very definitiw filling. the hathbrowns are very different than typical hathbrowns, but were nevertheless good.
Food was good. Decent portion sizes! The server seemed to be rushing us out as she brought us the bill pretty much as soon as we finished eating. It’s a bit expensive but yummy. The London fog was good. For food I had the crab cakes eggs benny a cheddar hashbrown.
Great service, nice atmosphere, great food. The staff were super friendly and went our of their way to be helpful. Went back for breakfast several times during our stay. Especially liked the poached eggs served with crab and shrimp risotto balls mmm!
if I could give this restaurant 6 stars, I would. the eier benedikt. fantastic. pecan bacon packaging. wow. the atmosphere. amazing. when they visit saskatoon, it is a must try and if they live here in saskatoon. Happy!
Had the stacker meal. Breakfast was very well made and tasty. The space is small, but airy and clean. There was a wait time of 20mins on a Sunday morning when I visited, but it was worth the wait.
