I know for a fact that this particular Potbelly does not conduct background checks on their employees, which is concerning given the history of some former staff members with substance abuse issues. I visited around 3 PM when there were no other customers. The staff seemed unsure about processing credit card payments. The manager was hiding in the back and didn’t assist the team. My sandwich was left sitting on the counter while the employee focused on taking the next order, despite my repeated attempts to get my payment sorted out. I love Potbelly. I normally do not go to this location cause it is not close to me, but I was in the area and starving so I stopped in. The sandwich was great and generously filled with goodness. Might make a trip to this location again.
