When my family were looking for a place to buy, we stumbled across the little suburb of Banyo and a little gem called Putia. We loved the dynamic so much, we decided to call it home and Putia our "local".With perfectly Instagram worthy plates, incredible main-stays such as Italian Breakfast Doughnuts and potato beignets, rustic-chic decor, staff that threat you like family and a down-to-earth celebrity chef at the helm, Putia is the best breakfast/lunch cafe in Brisbane.Having worked my way through the menu and many of the surprising and exciting daily specials, I am yet to experience anything that isn't worthy of an episode of "The Chef's Table".Chef Dominique Rizzo has brought a little bit...
Saturday lunch with friends, my first visit to this place, it's a hidden gem - and I have lived in Brisbane a long time...The menu is wide-ranging with starters, platters, and amazing main meals, exquisite desserts and a good range of wines.For true foodies, it's amazing... thank you, I'll be back!
The food was delicious and a change from a typical breakfast menu, specials were also amazing. The service was probably one of the best we've experienced. One of our family members has a hard time talking and the waitress was kind and patient and handled it professionally. Will certainly be back!
Banyo has a gem, this is a great food experience. Service is excellent and great casual feel about the place not over pretentious which wouldnt suit Banyo at all. Very welcoming and friendly. Great menu with changing specials great coffee and other yummy drinks.

This little gem is the most amazing food in Brisbane. The gnocchi with salsa verde is seriously one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Wonderfully helpful staff who don't overly fuss. Menu is fresh and seasonal. Quality food which is treated with respect.
Returned to Putia with my parents and our visit was much better than last time thanks goodness, and they didn't forget our coffee :) Food was very tasty, staff were attentive and friendly. Would recommend for somewhere a little different with fresh food.
The food is sensational - all fresh ingredients are used, the atmosphere and locale are a must when visiting this little corner of Banyo. Pop by to Ideology next door and do some shopping then stop for refreshments - perfect day out!
I don't know if we went there on a good day (I suspect not) but without fail - the food was fresh and authentic and Sicilian (like my wife) and the staff

Placed in Banyo near the train station, this is really nice place to eat. Always busy so worth booking. The food is good with a good selection.
