It struck me as quite odd, especially since I’ve always felt that it’s important to help customers regardless of the situation. Overall, it was a strange experience.

I know it says 3.5 stars, at the moment, but I think they're straightening things up for the better! The service used to be subpar and I'd really only come because the food is reeeaaalllly good. But now, they've renovated the place and the bartender today told me she'd bring my order out to my car! Talk about service! Give this place a chance, I think they're turning it around!
I dined at Dalton's during a business trip to New York and was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the restaurant. The food was outstanding, but what really made the experience memorable was the service! Erica, who was working behind the bar, treated me like a regular customer with her warm and friendly demeanor. I would absolutely return the next time I'm in the area.

Thought it was a full on restaurant, but everyone pretty much stayed by the bar (ordered something to go that was good). Drinks were nice and strong. Would gave stayed for a few more if we got the bartender's attention. When we were leaving we saw a security guard patting people down as they came in. But these days you can never be too careful.
The staff was genuinely friendly and professional. Renee was incredible. Our last day in NYC was made delightful by our meal at Dalton's. What a fantastic farewell!
Bartender was so nice and helpful, the Stella Artois on tap was off, but she introduced me to a new bottle beer, Stella Soltice Lager which was pretty good.
Renee provided outstanding service; we truly appreciated her attentiveness and genuine care for her customers. Food: 5/5
