It’s often hard to tell who’s actually working at the bar, as there seems to be one employee or another enjoying a drink. I asked a passing staff member for assistance, and they stopped, looked down, removed their apron, and said, "Oh, I'm not on the clock." However, they didn't communicate my request to anyone else, which was pretty unusual.

I had the opportunity to hear about Dalton's business trip to New York, and I was amazed by the size of the restaurant. The food was fantastic, but the service truly stood out! Erica (not sure about the spelling) was behind the bar and made me feel completely at ease. She was incredibly kind and welcoming. I would definitely return anytime I'm in the area. Food: 5/5.
Thought it was a full on restaurant, but everyone pretty much stayed by the bar (ordered something to go that was good). Drinks were nice and strong. Would gave stayed for a few more if we got the bartender's attention. When we were leaving we saw a security guard patting people down as they came in. But these days you can never be too careful. I visited Dalton's during a business trip to New York, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the restaurant. The food was excellent, but the service truly stood out! Erica, who was behind the bar, made me feel like a regular customer. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would definitely return whenever I'm in the area.
The staff was incredibly cheerful and professional. Renee was outstanding. Our final day in NYC was enjoyable thanks to our meal at Dalton's. What a wonderful farewell!
