Was a complete trainwreck on Saturday 2/22. Was seated at 5:00. Ordered drinks a few minutes later. Was finally given the drinks 15 minutes later. Ten minutes after saying we wanted to order they took the order. One hour and 2 minutes after the food arrived. It took an hour to get food. And they forgot to bring mine. At that point I didn't care to eat as we had a concert down the road and just wanted to get there because we were going to be late. But after everyone was about done, they tried to bring my plate and one of our soups. Sure who wouldn't want soup for desert. Not sure why this restaurant was such a mess on a Saturday night. I made a reservation through OPENTABLE at the Rosemont, IL location for a surprise birthday celebration for my fiancé. I confirmed the reservation on the morning of the event and reiterated that it was a surprise birthday party. When we arrived, there was no hostess at the stand so we seated ourselves. Our server, Alex V., was taking our order when I accidentally spilled my drink. Instead of immediately getting napkins to clean up the spill, he questioned whether I wanted them before or after I ordered. The food arrived promptly and tasted good. The food at the restaurant was good, but our server did not meet my usual expectations. We had to repeatedly ask her for things throughout the meal. Towards the end, she informed us that her shift was ending and asked us to settle the bill even though we were still eating and considering dessert or drinks. It was unusual for a server to ask us to pay because they were leaving, as typically they hand over the table to the next server and explain the situation to the customers.
Drinks took 30 minutes. We were eating before a concert, and honestly, drinks were pretty important. Massive fail for that!! They were slammed, so I get it, but I figure it’s not their first. There was a concert that night. The food was ok. I wouldn’t return.
