Rang Dong Restaurant is where Pho Baguette used to be. It is located in Alameda, Neptune Plaza.I stopped in to get my favorite dish the #33 vermicelli with grilled pork and egg rolls. It also has a small salad of shredded lettuce, carrots, cucumber and daikon, and a little container of fish sauce. I always order the same menu item to go. I know I should switch up and order other items on their menu.Service is great, and the employees are friendly and helpful.Love this restaurant because it is within distance from my home.
This is a fantastic little restaurant. I am visiting from Ohio and the Pho I had was absolutely delicious. They gave generous portions of all the meats in the soup and plenty of vegetables. The service was courteous and not too overbearing. The owner even sat down to eat his early dinner as we were leaving, which was amusing. My niece had a delicious and generous banh mi the day before. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Keep up the excellent work!
I really enjoyed #56! #33 was average. I ate the vermicelli first and had the idea to add more fish sauce to the nuoc cham dressing before pouring it over the reheated broken rice plate a couple of days later. They didn't provide much sambal, so I had to use my own sriracha. It's surprisingly difficult to find a place that serves broken rice, so I will definitely be ordering from here again.
The food at this restaurant is consistently fantastic. However, the real standout feature of this place is the staff who provide exceptional customer service. I will definitely be returning here as often as I can. It is truly the best. I also suggest trying the Bánh Mi and enjoying it by the beach.

I recently had the best Vietnamese lunch in about four years at this restaurant. It's difficult to find places that truly excel in this cuisine, but this one really stood out. Despite its small size with only about 10 tables and an open kitchen, the restaurant was clean and had excellent service.
The staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly and always provide us with great service! Their pho is delicious and the bahn mi is packed with tasty ingredients. I am always delighted to support Rang Dong!
Very delicious. New favorite in the east bay. Banh mi and pho ga was absolutely amazing.
The Bánh Mi Ga Nuong sandwich is delicious and their Thai Iced Tea is always fantastic!
