Restaurant Chez Lien

I have been at Chez Lien many times, most of which have been for take away. I enjoy the food although I find the place to be a little old school and fast food like. Here's how my experiences went: 1- Location It is located in the main artery of the city of Rosemere just as you cross the bridge from Laval. The place might not be directly visible from the road but you can definitely see its sign. The good thing about location is that it has a nice free parking space just in front and on the sides of the building where the restaurant is located. Premièrement je ne comprend pas que ce resto soit encore ouvert et que les inspecteur en salubrité ne ferme pas ce resto!Dès notre arrivé on se fait accueillir avec rapidité,dès que nous sommes assis on nous demande si nous avons choisi,sans même avoir pris le temps de regarder le menu,qui est le napperon,,,on sent la pression de se dépêcher,plus vite servie plus vite partie ! j'étais à mon entrée et le repas de mon conjoint était servie,j ai donc mangé seul.Tables,chaises noir écaillé et rouillé,nappe avec des trous de cigarette,,,ca fait combien d'année que nous n'avons plus droit de fumer dans les restos ??? les stores verticaux à nos côtés tellement sale,taché d'éclaboussure de liquide,d...

If you appreciate hearty, well-prepared VietNamese food then Chez Lien is for you. Take your pick: everything from hunger satisfying soups to full course meals are available. Fried bananas for dessert! Decor is nothing special but modestly presentable. Fast, efficient service. Eat there or bring it home, it's great either way. BYOB

We arrived at 7 pm. Very busy but were seated immediately. Server came to see us right away. We ordered and were served in record time. Food was warm and tasty. Big portions. Well balanced between meat, vegetables, and rice. We will return. Excellent service.

The lunch size portion was really a dinner size portion, and very well priced. I had the seafood brochette combination that was pretty good, and my associate had the beef which he also commented on that it too was pretty good.

I have eaten only once in the restaurant but I had their delicious and low priced food quite often as take out. Their chicken soup is wonderful just the right stuff for the cold winter months.
