Visited this place 2 weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. The service was great; the staff was really polite. We got placed immediately and the service speed was alright. We decided to try the "filet de perche" and the burger. The "filet de perche" were extraordinary tasty and the burger was really good for a restaurant which does not focus on burgers. As well I really enjoyed the fries as a side dish.The wine card is not too big, but what we got was really good.But in my opinion the best thing is the view. You sit next to the lake (like really really close, almost inside) and especially in summer days you can enjoy a beautiful atmosphere. Even though I live not too far away I got this...
We had a mid-afternoon lunch/dinner on a Sunday because we were starving and it was raining. Hubby had the grilled tataki which was just like seared ahi to us. I had the sautéed fera, a local Lac Leman white fish that was mild, flaky, and delicious! Sides of crisp-cooked veggies and pommes frites that were the best we've had in Switzerland! This was all washed down by a lovely Chardonnay and followed by caramel ice cream. The bill was wrong, but was corrected immediately with a smile and a cash refund. If we were staying longer, we'd go back. Very good.

However, this restaurant is outdated by the affluence in the event of good weather. if the dishes served are very good, this is not the case of the speed of service ... extremely slow. we had already tested this establishment with its internal room due. The slowness spoils the pleasure of a good meal.
Die Lage am See ist herrlich. Bequemes Parken und nicht zu weit außerhalb der Stadt. Die Terrasse verfügt über eine Veranda für den Fall, dass es regnet oder zu viel Sonne scheint. Ich war unter der Woche zur Mittagszeit dort und hatte das Menü, Salat, Filets de Perche, Dessert und Kaffee für 29 CHF. Das Essen war köstlich und sehr preiswert.

The view is just amazing! You are literally sitting right on the port/lake. The staff is super super helpful and nice. The food is not exceptional but good. We were very happy that the chef prepared a gluten-free perch (fish) for our celiac son, making sure there is non cross-contamination :-)

Perfect location. Used to like it but my last visit was a disaster. Slow service, below average food, not well cooked and executed with dated vegetables and costly. I will not return for dinner but just for drinks and a snack.
My plate was warm, the fish was fresh and tasty, with fresh and crispy french fries. I would definitely recommend this place! Plus good wine from les Frères Dutruy in Founex, a great local choice!
