I was introduced to Restaurant Le Chalet when I first started coming to Québec on business by employees out here. This is a nice little restaurant that serves you a home-cooked meal for lunch or dinner. There are a variety of choices on their menu as well as daily specials. The restaurant is always full of locals so you know this is a good place to eat. If you're out this way I would recommend you try Restaurant Le Chalet, you won't be disappointed. I do however have one caution for TripAdvisor readers. As I do in all my reviews I make a point of mentioning any restaurant that does not accept American Express as a payment option, and that is the case for Restaurant Le Chalet.
Je vous parlerai que du petit déjeuner. à st-hyacinthe et je dirais même partout au QC, ce sont les meilleurs petits déjeuners maison. Les patates rôtis sont de vrais pommes de terre tranchés et cuits sur la plaque. Ce ne sont pas des frites cuites dans l'huile comme la plupart des restaurants. La confiture aux fraises maison, les cretons,fèves aux lards maison et tellllleemmment délicieux. Le choix des viandes, oufff, le bacon au meilleur. Et que dire des rôtis cuites à la grillette et non au grille-pain!! EXCELLENT! Je vous conseille de ne pas manger de crêpes....sinon gare à vous, c'est addictif!!!

This delightful small restaurant, owned by a family, is a fantastic dining spot. Luc, the owner, is friendly and easy to converse with, and the homemade food is delicious. It feels just like having dinner at your aunt's house, and the prices are very reasonable. I have never been disappointed here! Make sure to try their desserts - they are yummy! J'ai été pour un diner et les légumes avaient un drole de gout, c'est une entreprise familiale et la grand mère était dans la cuisine et passait des légumes vraiment passé date, j'ai été malade et régurgité cette même journée, un petit conseil n'allez surtout pas vous rendre malade a cause de l'insalubrité de ce mauvais restaurant
De plus dans un style campagnard avec des poutres apparentes et au fond de la salle à manger un grand écran télé. Service aux tables personnel car étant pas trop grand on peut se sentir comme à la maison et en famille.
