Have gone there multiple times with friends with kids. The place is a bit difficult to find, even with GPS.We like it specially when there's good weather as kids can play outside at a small children park they have. Inside it's also quite big and can host big tables (last time we were 18 people), and they also have books and toys for kids.Food is really good, specially the cordon blue and the rösti. Also tried once the kirschtorte, and liked it a lot, as it wasn't too strong. Small caveat, kitchen is not too big, so sometimes waiting times are over 40min, so order as soon as you can and enjoy a conversation with friends!

I've been here many times over the past years. The cordon bleu is delicious. I prefer the one with bacon and a mixed salad, as having french fries with such a large piece of meat is rather heavy. The Sunday brunch is also hearty.It is a nice, family oriented restaurant which provides a good opportunity to experience a good meal in a rural "Swiss" ambiance.I noticed that the prices have gone up quite a bit this year, but it is still an excellent deal.
We have visited that place for the first time and we will come back for sure! I like old school vibes!!! Not commercial, touristic dont come if u are looking for fancy, insta place… Meat very good! Prices as well. Its SWISS home made Genuine, cozy place. Ps. Nobody speaks english but its not a problem, service is very kind and you can use basic german to manage it! Recommandation from us

Great place to eat by the farmside and nature. The food is great, the schnitzels are good here, and the prices are pretty good. Bring google translate if you don't speak German as the servers who work here fo not speak a word of any other language. Be aware, there are A LOT of flies and will be all over you while you are eating.
It doesn’t get more Swiss than this ! Very nice homemade taste across the menu. Don’t expect anything fancy. staff is friendly and attentive. Quick service and lots of space but well worth making reservations, it is always packed here Take CASH with you !!!
Visits with a friend after hearing rave reviews about the Cordon Bleu. The reviews were on site! Service, atmosphere and food were great that we always visit. It is the perfect place to visit friends and family. What a great find!
