I absolutely adored this charming restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive. The menu had a wonderful variety of dishes, from delicious fresh oysters and Japanese curry to sashimi and boneless fried chicken appetizers. I also loved the vegetable pancake and the bowl of pickled vegetables that accompanied each dish. Every single item I tried was outstanding. Last night, I ordered the Salmon plate which included Salmon caviar, sashimi, and tataki served over seasoned sushi rice, along with a soup and salad, all for just $18! I really like this small restaurant! The atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for a cozy meal for two. I love the diverse menu options and the fact that the main dishes are often accompanied by tasty sides. If you're feeling generous, I recommend ordering the fried chicken as a side and sharing it with your companion. It's delicious! Overall very good experience the food was good we took the omakase and 1 extra Toro-don with uni on top and seriously it was heaven. I gave 4/5 because I didn't enjoy the salad ... it taste like any sushi buffet wakame salad ..... nothing special to be part of the omakase in my perspective .... will definitely comeback to this restaurant I recommend

You'll also find that I'm quite the critic, sometimes a tad harsh but hey, it's not show friends, it's show business! Another hidden gem tucked away in the sud-ouest. Around 5 min walk from Lionel Metro. Very fresh and authentic bento style japanese cuisine. The Take Kago set is simply amazing with small tasting samples of fresh sashimi, salad and fried chicken.

Delicious food and cozy ambience. We ordered the sashimi platter and every slice was delicious. Plan on the return trip to try their non-sashimi dishes/plates. I would recommend this restaurant for the sashimi alone.
