During a recent business trip to Saint Hyacinthe, we dined at Restaurant Pepe one evening. I had previously enjoyed lunch at this restaurant on another occasion and found the dinner menu to be just as delightful. For starters, I ordered a warm goat cheese plate and for my main course, I opted for the grilled salmon served with bocconcini, olives, capers, and roasted pancetta in a light tomato sauce. The dishes were delicious and the portions were generous. I will definitely be returning to Restaurant Pepe the next time I am in Saint Hyacinthe and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of exceptional Italian cuisine.
I'll go there once a year. And every time it's always good. I'm always trying to take something different. I love the bread that serves us with basalmic vinegar olive oil. We have the choice of different dish by going to the dough, the meal salad or a thin crust pizza. Maybe it's a little more expensive, but at least we know it's gonna be good! If we're alone, there's the newspaper at our disposal. yesterday when I was, (5-7) he had a special table of host (without dessert), the wine at $5 or 20 oz beer. I mean it's good at that price, there's not a lot of place. I'll probably be back.
the very long time to get used two margherita pizzas and a cute net ended up being an explanation from the server that there was a problem with the oven. As an excuse, a basket of carbonized fries. When pizzas were served, the industrial paste was not even cooked, the cheese barely melted and the " tomato sauce had to come from a canned fund so it tasted nothing. The two pizzas were barely started, which prompted the baba-cool server to ask if they were to "take"!!!! as to the cute net, the chef had the good idea to raise her fade taste with cheese!
I am in Saint Hyacinthe on business and was invited to Restaurant Pepe with some collogues. This is a really nice restaurant with an inviting ambiance and an interesting menu that looks like it changes every day. The colleagues I am with come here regularly so I asked them to order for me. I am not quite sure what I had but it was very tasty. The service was excellent as well as the drink. between the old and the new pete trattoria, many stars have fallen. What's better, his helpless staff. What's more disappointing, dishes. I felt like they were coming out of the freezer to go to the microwave and the table. As for dessert, it was still frozen in the middle.For the end of the year, the restaurant was deserted. We don't have the sword we had. and the interior furnishings have nothing of a warm setting, it is a station hall.
Last Friday we went to Saint-Hyacinthe for the sidewalk sale and decided to try the resto. Pepe. WOW!WOW! super service, good wine, and very good food. Very generous plates (we even reported the too full)! entrance, soup, main dish (osso buco), dessert .ouf! It was a lot... but so good. Bravo to the chief and the staff.
It was my second visit to the oyster of dinner and it will be my last. the lunch menu is limited to three choices, the price is high and the small portions. The taste is correct, but there's really no way to write to his mother. Actually, it doesn't even give me the taste to try the evening menu.
I live in Saint-Hyacinthe and to my knowledge that restaurant is not in operation since a while.It was a good restaurant, the italien food was excellent and the portion was where reasonnable.
