We visited on a Thursday night when the restaurant was almost empty, I.e. there were only 2 other tables at the same time as us. The decor is nice and inviting and we were given a friendly welcome. It was downhill from there on.The service was extremely slow and the food bland. My husband ordered the lamb which was tough (at $46 we were expecting better). One of our party had a pasta dish which looked as if it has been standing for several minutes; the sauce on top had nearly all dried out, judging by the time it took to get served, this is probably what happened and it was not very tasty. We moved in the area about a year ago... tonight we discovered not only a great restaurant but a home away from home. The food is incredible, the service is amazing and the welcoming feeling we feel as we step in the restaurant makes it a place to come back over and over again. We tried different combinations on the menu from a home made cesar salad to a beef carpacio for starters to an exquisite buffalo steak to a salmon tartar for the main dishes to a chocolat souffle and some calvados fritters with a caramel sauce for dessert! Simply divine. Everything from the general ambiance to the food, to the great wine selection nothing is overlooked. To top it all, the owner's wife beeing an artist...
Excellent restaurant ! Accommodating and attentive service. Since we've moved to St-Sauveur, we've dined 4 times. As rarely seen in many restaurants, all 4 occasions were equally excellent. The menu is varied and the portions, while not overflowing, are generous. The food will definitely excite your palate. They also serve (all you can eat except on Saturdays) an excellent variety of mussels. Well worth any detour.
We had a wonderful meal at Le Raphael. The food was excellent and the pace of the meal was perfect. Raphael himself was charming and accommodating, helping to translate the menu and describe the meals. There are a wide variety of choices on the menu to suit any palate. Told it was pretty full for Saturday...but they might fit us in...the place was half-full. Service, they have an attitude problem. Food somewhat bland, salmon tartar..hard to find the salmon, loaded with aneth. Prices more expensive than on their site. Would not bother going back. Very inconsistent in most aspects.
THIS RESTAURANT IS FOR FINE DINNING,,,, very good service everyone smiles and are pleasant to talk with they know trier menu and can help you choice what you like.The atmospher is lounge type and music . Meals are sevred hot and nicely presented, my duck was plainly delicious.and price for quality is reasonable.
Great place. The food is awesome and the service on the top level. Their mussel & fries selection is one of the bests I have eaten in a long time. Only thing to keep in mind, the place gets a bit hot when crowded, so ask for a table on the bottom floor, not the top one.
