Visited Ribs and Rumps Parramatta today with two friends. For a Sunday it was considerably slow when it comes to customers, we walked in at precisely 8:30 and were told by the waitress she had to check' if the kitchen was still open. We were told it was however we had to order quickly We were seated and ordered our food. The food took about half an hour to get to us. The waitress had good customer service I ordered the 400 gram Angus Steak with chips and Mushroom sauce, the steak was cooked well (medium) and the chips were hot, crispy and had good seasoning. My partner and I have lived locally for over a year. Decided to give this place a try last night (2-Feb-17) and I have to say, I was extraordinarily disappointed by the experience I cannot say the food was bad. It was pretty much average However, what is still sticking to me was the price vs the dish portions I spent $22.95 on a 300 lb rump steal with herbed/garlic potatoes Now, I won't exaggerate...... my steak i finished in 7 mouthfuls. It was really damn small. On top of that, I only received 4 small potatoes..... small to the size of a small gobstopper (4x4cm's).. My partner ordered a Chicken Caeser salad. I'm starting to rip and go around. for one there is something that is always a bit disappointing at this place, but I'm still going to save a trip to hurricanes. eating is really only average and sometimes a big hit or miss. my burger was a great miss! the burger claimed to be angus beef, but it tasted so processed and had so many wobbles! the appetizers we ordered (calamari mushrooms) were nice, but nothing too special. the ribs and steaks are also in order, not super juicy steak (but I don't think they come here and the best steak ever expected).
Nice location, steak and ribs were awesome. Service was ok but could be improved. The restaurant appeared run down and a bit unclean. There was food on the floor here and there that had not been cleaned up. We were seated next to a table that had not yet been cleared and it remained uncleared for 30 minutes or more. I didn't enjoy looking at dirty plates napkins and rib bones. The building required maintenance which made this restaurant feel lower class. The saving grace was the food.

Ordered the 200g and 400g rump with pork ribs, and sizzling mushrooms. The steaks were ok not great but not bad, the coleslaw had a weird flavour, but the ribs were surprisingly great!! Tender, off the bone lots of flavour! The side sauces were below average it's so hard to find a decent sauce at any restaurant these days! Recommend the ribs if anything!
Ordered the sirloin steak which came with fries and creamy mushroom sauce. The steak was nice and juicy, the sauce and chips complemented this. Also had the cesar salad and decided to try the BBQ pork loaded fries which was surprisingly enjoyable! The service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely looking forward to the next visit.
we went there on a Monday, they had many empty tables and still left us in the lobby waiting for 5 minutes before we sat. Eat and ambiente is good for friends and family. the water could have been better. but everything in all it was not bad!
seriously, how can they owe this place. they can literally not go wrong in the menu. if they have said that, they will stick to ribs, choose between these two things. do not be the person who comes here and orders chicken or an salad.

great table, good place for big venues. service on the table ok. eat overpriced a bit, no really good taste on the ribs (each of 3 r to choose there) simply drowned in this over boiled Barbie sauce. better ribs out there
Everything was wonderful. The staff was exceptional. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend Ribs and Rumps.
